BIOGRAPHY

Linda Buratto was born January 15, 1989 in Bologna, Italy. Inspired by her father's record collection she begged to start playing guitar at the age of 7.

After a few years of travelling and playing in the USA and Spain, in 2009, Linda moved to Guildford, UK to further her musical studies at the Academy of Contemporary Music and achieved a BA Honours degree in 2012 whilst becoming involved with local music scene.

In 2011 she formed her own project Echo Boom Generation and recorded her first EP "Nothing is Wasted" at Lightship 95 Studio, a boat converted studio in East London.

Linda has also been touring all over the world as part of Kate Nash's backing band since 2012.

Linda joined the singer's backing band right after the recording of her 3rd album and played in Nash's comeback song "Under-estimate the Girl". The song went viral on the web and caused a lot of controversy over the singers new sound and image. She is also featured in the "Death Proof EP" and "Girl Talk Deluxe Version".

In February 2013 Sam Duckworth (Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly) approached Linda to play on 3 tracks on his upcoming solo album "Amazing Grace".

Finally, Linda has built a strong relationship based on guitar and awesome meals with Guitar FX guru Roger Mayer who's defined her sound "avantgarde".
